YUCCA Telecom

Each year, Roosevelt County Rural Telephone Cooperative (RCRTC) sponsors a high school junior to attend a Youth Tour in Washington, D.C.
The Youth Tour offers students from rural areas a once in a lifetime experience! Students get a first-hand look at the telecommunications industry, learn about the legislative & governmental process, and get the rare opportunity to visit our nation's capital. In addition, students have the opportunity to meet other high school students from rural communities across the country and form friendships that last a lifetime.
The 2009 Youth Tour will take place May 30 - June 3, 2009. We encourage every high school junior whose parents are Cooperative members to apply for this chance of a lifetime tour of our Nation's capital in 2009.
Applications wil be sent out to the schools in January 2009.

Each year, Roosevelt County Rural Telephone Cooperative (RCRTC) sponsors multiple $500 scholarships. High School seniors whose parents or guardians are members of the cooperative are eligible to apply. It is available to members receiving service from RCRTC (prefixes 253, 273, 276, 274, 477, 478, 675, or 482) and their immediate families.
